Cancer and Virgos... two sensitive or overly sensitive signs?

Both.

I can say this because I am the Queen of Emotions, with my Virgo rising and my moon in Cancer. I am always in my feelings.

When it comes to love, Cancers and Virgos care deeply.

If you are in a relationship with a Cancer or a Virgo, you see some kind of love in them. They both love hard and well. The difference is: selfishness and altruism.

Virgos are selfless lovers. They tend to put their partner's needs first. They enjoy peace and harmony, so as long as their partner is happy, they are happy. With their observant personality and desire to make things right, a Virgo will know what to do to make their partner perfectly comfortable. When Virgos care about others, it means they will care about them too.

Cancers tend to be selfish lovers. Not to completely bash Cancers, (because I completely understand the way they feel), but this is not cute. This is the darker side of Cancers. They crave a deep bond with someone, but they don't go out of their way to keep the person around unless they have to. Cancers are good at fooling people because it is often done in a nice way. In other words, they will congratulate you and give you (false) hope sometimes just because they know that's what you want.

When it comes to love, cancer and the virus need to be reassured.

The fact is that both Cancer and Virgo want to be wanted and need to be needed.

Virgos tend to be sensitive people. When they close themselves off and hide their emotions, they do so because they are afraid of being judged. They are usually anxious creatures; this is the darker side of a Virgo. They want to be sure that what they are doing is right. I mean, they want to be praised constantly. Constantly. Desperately.

Cancers never really hide their emotions. When they are really hurt and isolated, they become even more emotional because they are not with someone. They desperately crave a deep connection with another person, so they want to be reassured and comforted and loved.
